And the traditional burning of the Christmas Trees on the beach. Despite the wind, and some earlier confusion that saw some of the trees removed by the council who hadn't realised they were being gathered for a purpose and not just dumped, it went ahead as usual. We were slightly late, having been playing boardgames with our neighbours, so missed the fire at its biggest but it was still an impressive blaze when we got there.
