Today's the day ........................ for frozen veg

The temperatures didn't rise very much today away from the sun.

This grassy vegetation looked as if it had been growing its ice crystals for quite a few days.  But where the sun's rays did manage to penetrate, all was well - and the new growth looked quite green already.

Apparently things are supposed to warm up slightly by the middle of the week .....................
