Just one of those days...

Cooler today but some sunshine.

I decided to bake and use up some ingredients - mince pies and a chocolate cake.   My greaseproof paper is packed away, so used what I thought would be OK but it melted onto the edge of the cake so I had to cut some off, so it is oval in shape!   The pastry was too short and I filled them too much, so they wouldn't come out of the tin. 

All in all I should have left well alone.    They will taste OK, but not fit to offer anyone else one!!!!
