Knockan Crag
Plan B was established on rounding the corner to the clag-ladened hills in front of us. We had the skills for a damp, breezy whiteout but simply not the inclination - particularly given the forecast looks better tomorrow.
Instead of a mountain day, we had a fine short outing exploring the astonishing geological rock formation at Knockan where ancient rocks have travelled 70km to get here.
We dressed up for the chilly coffee shop on the way home; purchased a few more supplies; spotted a golden eagle near the cottage on the way back; and spent the afternoon overlooking the loch.
Now for another blast of Better Call Saul.
...and the start of Peaky Blinders.
