Walking by the Vineyard

The 25 walkers left our cars at the lake and walked from there towards Glendhu Bay.  After 5 k's 3 of us turned back because it was too hot.  Extra No. 1 is of the walkers heading up a small hill.  Extra No. 2 is the view from our lunch spot.  We stopped for a welcome cuppa on the way back to the cars.  I walked a total of 17,000 steps, which is 10 k.  In this heat it is far enough!!!  +24C, felt like +34C.

While I was away the Council cleared the broom from the land above my house.  (Extra 3)  I'm feeling very pleased about that, as it is a real fire risk during this hot dry spell.

Time to put my feet up...
