Party

1st birthday means 1st birthday party.

Family and friends (big and little) joined for a party today (with indoor bouncy castle, for little ones only), to be noisy, bounce, eat and have fun. Caleb not sure, quite content to be passed from nanny, to grandad, to cousin , to friend etc - even though he has a cold he was as good as hold. A lovely rendition of “happy birthday” to finish before cleaning up of the room, sweeping up and decamping back home (with multiple left over food items as well as a mountain of toys). :)

Back home, cake cut and Caleb had his first taste of cake - dairy free :). By this time, a little worn out so a little grumpy - nothing that a quick nap didn’t resolve. After the nap, the opening of the presents (by the adults mainly) to reveal toys of various sizes and levels of noise :)
