Not amused

Tomorrow is controlled assessment write up day for my Year 11 group. They have had a weekly reminder since JUNE and fortnightly prep sessions since September. I reminded them on Friday and was met with high levels of incredulity that it was really happening on Monday.

Suffice to say, there have been a number of panic stricken emails from some students over the weekend.

After 22 years, I find that I am still surprised when students suddenly realise that deadlines are real things. Beggars belief sometimes. I am honestly glad that after this year, all of the coursework element has gone from my subject. It’s a right Royal pain in the backside.

Anyway, physio this week, along with GP visit on Wednesday to seek my second opinion referral and to try and figure out this constant tiredness, nausea and pain. It’s wearing me down if truth be told. Hard to keep the mask on sometimes.
