Sunset on Primrose Hill

After spending the morning at UCLH and seeing my aunt onto a train at St Pancras I had a long walk along Regent's Canal, past the zoo and up to Primrose Hill while the sun was setting.  Then back down past the boating lake watching a twilight gathering of geese, herons and cormorants and along Euston Road to the hospital in time to see Mum sitting up in a chair for a few bites of dinner.  I waited till she was settled back into bed and then walked back to Southampton Row.  A healthy 11 miles clocked up today so I felt I deserved a glass or two of wine left over from the weekend's family gathering.
