My challenge for 2018

These are quilting rulers and a free motion quilting foot, a present to me at Christmas!! I’ve never used them before, but seen instructions on the internet.
I’ve got two projects ready to quilt, but need to make up a sample practice piece first so that I know what I’m doing before I start for earnest!!
