Great day

Out the door at 9am to go cycling for 2 hours. Fresh air & exercise.

A lazy afternoon, and then over to Edinburgh in the evening for the Caps' derby against Fife Flyers. Flyers had a big win last night. Caps had a disappointing defeat.

Fantastic game. Caps won 5-2, but it was closer than that...

It does feel a bit odd supporting the Edinburgh team against my local one, especially as my son and I supported Flyers for years. But (1) Caps kept going in the top league when Flyers were in the wilderness so I got in the habit of supporting them and (2) my son played at Murrayfield for the u16 & u20 teams.

This morning my son had his first game since May 11 after recovering from illness, and his team won. Pleased for him.

Ah, the Blip. Beveridge Park. Stopped there when cycling to catch my breath before the last, long hill.
