Burning off energy

We went up to Belton House this morning - the day was far, far too good to spend at home and we wanted to get outside.  We (smugly) thought it would be quiet on account of if being a cold January day, but hadn't factored in that it was a stunning (cold) January day and everyone wanted to get out. Despite this, Belton is more than large enough to cope with the influx of visitors and we had a great time running about, climbing up anything and everything, sliding down slides and generally burning off energy. 

Suffice to say, we had some tired boys, which meant a bit of a bit of a quiet afternoon (husband and eldest fell asleep on the sofa together during lunchtime 'tv time').
