Winter playground

Mrs M and the crags of Nethermost Pike.

A beautiful day on the tops being enjoyed by walkers, runners and climbers.  No mountain bikers, though it would have been perfect.

Bookings only for Helvellyn summit shelter, but we used quiet little-known paths up and down.   And with the bus pass we could walk a linear route.  Shame there was an hour's wait at Thirlspot.  It would have been rude not to make use of the King's Head.
