Chickens

My lovelies, from left to right, Ginger, young Billy, Bongo, Olive and Cornelius. Three out of five currently laying and all five actually living in the hutch, I had a problem getting the black ones to move back in after a summer of living under the cottage in the garden. Daughter number 3 broke the frame on which the hutch door sits on Christmas day and it will require some thinking about to repair, luckily I have a (literal ) shed load of wood, lots of tools and the knowledge gleaned from living with a joiner for ten years to help me, but no actual joiner. I live in hope.
