Dicker Grünfink

"Der Grünfink" if you want the article.  The greenfinch in Englisch.

It was a quiet Sunday and all the better for it.

I have a week of too-much-to-do ahead and I feel there will be a fair amount of how-can-I-do-more questions.

I'm not really looking forward to it.

And the title means "fat greenfinch".  The adjective is normally just "dick" but because we have no definite (der) article, the adjective is declined with the -er.  If I'd used the "der" it would have been "der dicke Grünfink".
