Rehearsal for Carnival

Avenida Atlantica down the front was jumping tonight with samba parades to warm people up for Carnival.  We chose to have dinner in one of the many restaurants down there, but not on the beach side. We were able to enjoy the atmosphere and see the main stages on tv as it was all televised. It was great fun to see the Brazilians get going when the popular songs were sang and of course they knew all the words and were singing along and swinging their hips as only Brazilians can!  The closest we Scots might get would be to sing Auld Lang Syne or how a Gay Gordons or Dashing White Sergeant might get us up on the dancefloor at a ceilidh or wedding!  My blip is just to show the crowds.
