Lichen

I picked up a lichen covered twig in the Lake District back in November, with a view to photographing it but never got round to it until today. 

I chose this part of the twig as I thought it looked a little bit like a chicken.  Just my interpretation......or my vivid imaganation :)


Having a quiet day at home as HereWeGoAgain is not feeling so good, I think we are both in need of a rest.
