Solway reflections

The Solway was like a millpond early this morning. Its not very often you see it like this so just had to blip it! The cows have now been taken off the marsh for the winter so there's more choice of where to walk, the sheep are still there though but they are not scary!! You can see from this photo where the marsh is slowly being erroded.

Its been a beautiful day today and I've worked for most of it, but can't complain too much as have been to Keswick and Cockermouth and the autumn colours are great everywhere at the moment. The sunshine brought out lots of people today and Keswick was busy with tourists and their 4-legged friends. Shame I wasn't able to fit in a walk with Bonnie who I'd had to leave at home.
