Re-membering with love

Today the married couple, Lily and James, came for lunch on their way, eventually, to their new life together in Pittsburgh.
I was pleased to be able to give them a gift from Lily’s late Aunt Janette. This quilt was one of the last that she finished and is called Five Red Cats after the South African Shwe Shwe fabric which is stamped with three cats on the back - ‘5’ because she selected 2 additional patterns to match. It has been our tradition to make wedding quilts for family weddings and I know that Janette loved all our American Cloke nephews and nieces and would want Lily to receive this beautiful work.
