Lyveden

Visited Lyveden - a National Trust property in Northamptonshire. It's a house which was built by a rich man on the 16th century but he died before it was finished. It reminded us of the parable of the Rich Fool in the Bible.
Today it remains in it unfinished state but you can go inside it. Nice tearoom too :)

Two birthdays in our house this weekend, three extra house guests adding to the fun. Enjoyed a surprise visit from one of my brothers and my sis-in-law then dinner out in a nearby restaurant followed by games in the evening rounded off a busy but fun day.
