An encounter with Christ

Last night hubby and I watched 'Rome unpacked' on the BBC. Having met in Rome and lived there for many years, it brought back a lot of memories. On the programme, they cooked an authentic Roman Carbonara which made our mouths water...so today we headed to Hexham to source some "guanciale" at the butcher's so we could cook it for ourselves for dinner.
We had a lovely walk around Hexham, even though it was cold and drizzly. We browsed the bookshops and enjoyed cream tea together. I bought a lovely jumper in the sales at 'White Stuff' too.
