Little Walk in the Big Wood
We are in Andalusia, staying on a campsite in the forest of the Doñana National Park. It is beautifully sited in a peaceful spot. There is a cycle path starting outside the gate that will be perfect for Nell's daily walks whatever the weather plus a network of forest paths offering variety on drier days.. We gave it a go as soon as we arrived.
I took a bunch of photographs, intending to compile a collage to post here but they mainly came out very poor. So here's just one of them, some wild olives. There is a wide variety of plants in the forest and I was particularly enchanted by the vast amount of Rosemary. It had me hankering for some good roast lamb.
We are staying for a month (the showers being so very excellent) so I may have chance to document the season changing. Much of the forest is blanketed with Oxalis which are just putting up their flowers stems now. I look forward to a sea of yellow.
