Waiting patiently

.... for the matinée. 

These birds were sat on top of the Odeon cinema and stood out against the clear winter sky.
They were quite a way away, and I was quite pleased with this shot. The pocket-sized Panasonic compact I was using has an impressive zoom. From street level, you can't normally see the mesh covering the signage. (well I can't!)
