Working outside

John had the chainsaw at work on a few lower branches with me on the strimmer cutting back montbrecia leaves, bracken and brambles, plenty more to do and hope to continue tomorrow. The compact camera was in my pocket to take a pic of John at work but forgot until tidying up. I’m not sure a snowdrop works well in mono but liked the shape when looking down.

Weather wise a perfect winters day and ideal for gardening, the leaves were crispy and cut through nicely and not too warm in the winter garb. John is now shattered, he hasn’t fully recovered from the cold bug thing from last week. Our neighbours have been knocked for six with something horrid, far worse than our sniffling coughcold, most unusual for them.
It was great to get out there for a few hours and emails are arriving encouraging me to think about planting bulbs.....
