Muddy walk

Our pools were both closed this morning ! When they checked the chlorine levels, they were not right. I’m just glad they spotted it. Green hair and the loss of a sun tan don’t bear thinking about.

Early afternoon and the light improved, so I headed to the Woodland Trust Nature Reserve. Incredibly muddy. I think I was the only non-dog-walker around.

I find walking boots and Wellingtons quite hard to manage yet as they’re heavy and cumbersome and I not fit enough to take them in my stride. (Getting there though). I’ve some memory foam trainers with excellent tread and they were perfect. Washed down on my return, they are now in the washing machine with my similarly muddy jeans....
