Unlikely bedfellows

I knew one tyre needed replaced on the Outlander. The fact it goes flat two days after I fill it up with air told me that. However it transpires that all four are low on tread and so the bank account will take a pounding. They didn’t have the tyres in so it’s back tomorrow to get them done.

Then it was an afternoon on the phone talking whisky, baking, pitches and ear gromits.

The day perked up dramatically at the end when Liverpool edged the cup match against Everton.
