Treat day

We had a nice afternoon planned with a friend today. We’d booked to go see Paddington 2 and then out for pizza. It all went to plan but not so. Katie absolutely hated the movie. She was terrified. I loved it. I encouraged her to stay to the end to try to show her it was alright in the end but she was very upset. So much so that come bedtime she wouldn’t go to bed without me and eventually ended up going to sleep on the sofa whilst I worked in the lounge. She loved her pizza though and had fun doing her ice cream dessert!
