Senior Nymph

This is the most advanced praying mantis nymph among the ones I have been tracking. Already the wings and wing cases are well developed. Perhaps next time she sheds her skin she will be an adult. In spite of appearances she does have all her legs and antennae. I went out and checked.

The rain has stopped at last. Over the last two days we’ve had 43mm, which is more than a month’s worth.
