Deep Purple

After 40 years of waiting, I finally saw Deep Purple live. 40 years between singing my heart out to their albums in my teenage bedroom in Peebles, and always feeling like a wee bit of a traitor for shifting my love to Ritchie Blackmore and Rainbow. I haven't kept up to date over the years and was unsure if this would be a case of reconnecting or accepting they were part of a past life. To my delight and joy, their talent shone throughout and the amazing keyboard work made me remember why I loved them over other hard rock bands.
