Old?

This is my friend's birthday cake.
Her mum made it. It looked fab and tasted even better!

After sampling the cake this afternoon, we had a laze about, watched the first few dancers on Strictly and were then whisked off by Jane's sisters and another friend to a local resturant for a celebratory meal.

Lots of chat, lots of laughs, a helium balloon and a cake with a firework in.
Back home in time to watch the end of X-Factor on +1 then sat and chatted and slurped wine till 1.30am.

And no, I don't think 40 is old.
