(Another) Glimpse of Spring

Crocus sieberi -  raised from seed collected from 'Bowles White,' a form that originated in the collection of famed Crocus enthusiast E. A. Bowles early in the twentieth century.  Either it's crossed with a purple form or most likely, there is purple in it's genes.

As Twelfth Night approaches we enjoyed some quiet time at home.  Good food - Mushroom & Onion quiche, music - Jamie's violin and Jacinta's flute and I found time to write labels for some seed that arrived recently.  Planting time approaches :-)
