Trelleborg

The boys are used to almost daily training sessions and we have worked hard during November and December. They are very fit and these last days of rest have made them rather restless. They miss using their bodies and minds. But Hero needs time to recover from the operation and his wounds needs time to heal, so the usual training is not an option. 

We drove to Slagelse today after work. First we went for a very muddy and wet walk at the old Viking Fortress Trelleborg. I had forgotten how much Hero enjoy rolling in sheep poo at Trelleborg, so it wasn't the best place to walk him. It was a challenge to stop him from rolling and getting poo into the operation wound.

We continued to My Pets, a pet shop, to buy a Hero sized Inflatable collar as the one we had was Biscuit's and too small to work properly for Hero. 

I stopped on the way home to do the grocery shopping and then I took the boys for another walk in an attempt to burn som collie energy and ensure a quiet evening.
