Today was all about.....

....Catching Up.....with the important things in life!!

I didn't intend to, but I slept til 9.30! Not like me really, but I must have needed it!

Son#1 and girl friend joined us for brunch. No one had to rush off or be anywhere and it was nice to sit and chat - we sat til about 3pm - so again, we must have needed that time together! Or maybe it was a non stop supply of Blueberry and Ricotta Pancakes that kept them at the table ;-)

I also managed to catch up with some friends on the phone and we fixed some dates for a 'proper' catch up in the next couple of weeks. Amazing how difficult it can be to find time.

I meant to catch up with my book. I tried, but fell aslep again. I din't realise I was that exhausted! It is half term in a week's time when I will catch up with the work I should have done today ;-)

The blip is of a rose that came as part of a bunch to say thank you from our good friends and neighbours.... they had managed to 'break' 3 cars in 10 days!!! One of them a write off! So they shared a few lifts here and there.
