Blustery day
Another day feeling poorly and with zero energy. Another day of high winds and even higher seas. On the way from taking Charlie to school, I detoured as it was approaching high tide. I wish it was possible to have recorded the sound of the water swooshing through the pebbles on the beach. It is one of my favourite sounds in the world.
My blip shows the power of the waves. The car park is littered with pebbles as is the wall. There has been an awful lot of clearing up to be done around the coast. Yesterday the Fire service pumped out over a million litres of water from flooded coastal areas. That is a lot of water!
