Good morning Melbourne

The view from my bed - the sun shining through the blind in my bedroom. Staying in an Airbnb which is a nice single fronted Victorian cottage overlooking a small park. It's near where I used to live and easy walking everywhere.

I spent the day with a friend and her daughter and her husband joined us too. They lived in Cairo for a while so catch ups are always fun.

When I arrived last night I had dinner locally. Familiar but it wasn't. Strange being on my own again after 10 days with family, but also need some quiet time to process everything.

But, as ever, lucky to do what I do.
