Back To The Mundane

PD was with us today - and he has not met Jay ....... who obviously came out to eat during the night, but spent virtually all of the day under the settee (but is now under our bed while SWMBO attempts to sleep off a migraine.

It was dark when PD and I set off but was light enoough half way through our walk to play about with camera movement and have a go at tree lichen.

It seems ages since we walked through the woods - so we did that at lunchtime.

That is where I saw the wet looking fungus and the broken branch with the lovely grain pattern.
I think I might go back with my saw for that!.

The red dogwood stems made a nice background for the single dead leaf
