A break in the clouds

I may have posted a shot of this tree in the past, but with more than 2000 blips, finding it is becoming more of a problem.  

I managed to escape the decorating for a couple of hours today to return some items to the shops.  It was resolute grey all of the time I was out, save for this brief shaft of light, which I just managed to capture by quickly pulling into a lay-by and grabbing the camera to take a shot.

Looks like the weather is going to improve over the weekend, though it will be getting colder as a result.  It'll be good to have some sunshine.
