LongLegs and I did our annual trip to Barts Hospital for tests and to see his GUCH consultant.

I forget what GUCH stands for every year - Grown Up Congenital Heart !

It’s such an impressive hospital and the GUCH team are great. And no great changes in LongLegs’ aorta this year. Apparently all of our aortas grow slightly as we get older.

There is nothing to worry about in most of us. For Marfans, like LongLegs, his aorta is already huge so when his starts to grow as he gets older, that’s when intervention will be needed.

I thank God that we live so close to such great hospitals.
