The last of the twinkles...

until next year.  Tonight being 11th night, the night of the pipers l felt l had to blip something Christmassy.  l know lots of people like to take their tree down as soon as the New Year begins but l am a bit of a traditionalist and like to keep the tree up for as long as possible.  Once the twinkles have gone it really makes January feel rather drab and dull.  Ah well... it won't be long and the little snowdrops will be pushing their heads up to herald the start of the new season and the days will soon feel like they are lengthening.  Today has been horribly windy once more.. not too cold though which is good.  Unlike the east coast of America which is getting hit by a heavy snow storm... keep safe all over there.
