A visiting Bullfinch

Early this morning I was thrilled to see this beautiful male bullfinch at the bottom of my garden and even better that he stayed for a few minutes to allow me to grab the camera! He chose a spot by the washing line and compost bin but the spot was his choice!

I went to art this morning - it was good to get back to my usual routine after the festivities. This evening I'm going to the Wildlife Trust social event. I've been asked to show some of my wildlife photos (it will be the third or fourth time I've done it) so I spent ages yesterday sorting some out. There are always very good photographers showing theirs so no pressure!!
