The picture shows the torrential rain this afternoon as we sit in a car park waiting for the moment to dash into the shops.
But as I write this the wind is gusting at over 100km/hr over North Head, power is out in many parts of the city, and we are rocking in the marina at Bayswater. We decided to come down and spend the night on the boat just for a bit of fun, listening to the wind howling through the rigging and the rain hammering on the hatches.
