I stumbled across this great challenge by Markus_Hediger - experimenting with reduced exposure.

I chose my son's cat, Holly, because she is staying with us for a couple of days after a night in hospital. She got into a fight with a feral cat at the farm at Christmas and had to have an abscess drained. 

The reduced light probably matches her dark mood but she is looking much better now.
I don't like how it looks as if she lost her left eye. It's just that it's surrounded by black fur so doesn't show up here.
