High Moor - Day 2

After the fairly fast going of day 1, we were lulled into thinking it'd all be kind of like that. How this would change however! The first 5km of the day took about 4hrs, so still moving alright, but the next 4km took a further 5 hours! Lots of steep scrambling, clambering over roots, and lowering the rucksacks with ropes. Still a glorious day and delighted when we finally arrived into High Moor at about 8pm. Wonderful sunset - we could see all the way out to sea. 9km, 1000m, 9hours
