Life, not as we see it.

Loch Lubnaig, looking south west towards Ben Ledi.

Having SORNed the MX5 from the end of this month, decided to take advantage of the fairly benign weather forecast for today and have a last wee blast with the roof down.

Got to Balquhidder where we were going to have a bit of a walk but whilst examining the Forestry Commission notices we were attacked by that Scourge of Scotland, the almighty Midge. Had thought they would be all tucked up for the winter / dead, but no, and we had no repellent to hand.

So, what does any self respecting Scotsman do in the face of such adversity? Retreat to the nearest pub? Correct! We did so, and there encountered that other scourge, the surly bar person. 'Nuff said!

After a meager repast, we headed north towards Loch Earn and took the south side road, looking for photo opporchancities. Nothing presented itself, and the heavens opened, dictating roof up and another retreat back south and home.

Stopped briefly at Loch Lubnaig to grab something (above) to blip with.

Frustrating day!
