Ripples of a life well spent

I went to the funeral of my friend Paul's mum today.

I had never met Mary Bryant but felt that I had. In fact when I saw a feature about her in the Brent and Kilburn Times, it felt that I'd know her all my life.

She was trained as a dancer and active for so much of her life. Talking to her dance class member and carers, she inspired so may people. The funeral was anything but sad, celebrating a life which will have influence for many years to come.

One of her many claims to fame was being in the film of 'Spread a little Happiness'  by Sting. A piece of music that marked her departure.
