Coming In To Land
Just as I was heading into town today, I stopped up at our garage to take some photos of the foxgloves, when this big fat bumblebee decided to head in for a feed.
Luckily I was shooting the flowers with a super wide aperture of f/1.2, so my camera was already on it's fastest mechanical shutter speed of 1/8000 to allow for the daylight, but this also meant I could freeze the bee in flight.
I'm a bit in love with this Fujifilm 56mm f/1.2 APD lens. I have it on loan from my brother-in-law as I'm shooting a wedding in three weeks, where I will really come into it's own. It will be a shame to give it back!
