Tenth Day……..

Following on from the previous blips I continue with the Twelve Days of Christmas and the hidden meanings.

The 12 Days of Christmas start on Christmas Day and last until the evening of the 5th January - also known as Twelfth Night.  


The tenth day of Christmas is “ten lords a-leaping” and this refers to The Ten Commandments.

Today was always going to be tricky finding a lord, let alone a leaping one. In bygone days Lords were often knights and this is one sitting on a leaping horse!
