My Beautiful New Apartment

My beautiful new apartment is coming together. I put the decorating on hold because business has been a little slow. I took December off, then haven't gotten any new projects in January yet. But I'm just starting to get calls for work this week, and actually starting a new project today...creating ads for the movie Sex Drive. I am excited to know that money will be flowing once again. The first couple weeks of Jan were quiet, and I was getting a little down not working, but it seems that things are starting to kick into gear again.....which means that 60 inch plasma screen that I am dreaming of putting on my main living room wall is becoming an even closer reality.....ahhh, the joys of materialism :-)

Loving my pad, and loving being only a few blocks from the beach. But damn, Santa Monica rent is no joke....though on the upside, the expensive rent puts a little fire under my a$% to go out and get really great work with really great people, and make lots of money!

I've been a graphic designer for 10 years now, and I'm feeling more passionate about my work than ever, and enjoying it more than I ever have, and doing better work than I've ever done. I'm excited about the year that lays ahead! The year that is happening right now :-)
