Masjid Sultan

This afternoon we finally arrived in Singapore and went to our overnight hotel (Hotel Boss) to meet our friends A &D who had arrived the night before.  As we drove to the hotel there was a heavy downpour of rain: that coupled with the steamy temperatures tells you why Singapore is so lush and green.
After a quick shower, we all 4 took a walk to the Arab quarter for dinner at one of the many Lebanese restaurants.  En route we walked by the stunning Sultan Mosque pictured here.  There will be time for more sightseeing when we return to Singapore after our cruise.
