I'm always so glad that our first working week back is Youth for Christ conference. So much more of a gentle start to work.

For those of you who follow my blip and know of my annual terror at having to share a room with somebody, you'll be pleased to know that I have, again, lucked out with a double room to myself. As we are here together, Ellie and I had both assumed that we would be sharing but we were both equally delighted to find out we had our own room. We both said 'I like you, but....'.

Day one has got off to a cracking start. It's our big re-launch tonight so other Ellie came up to Manchester for the evening to be here, even though she has to be in Oxford for uni tomorrow. What a trooper. A great evening, a great start to the year and a great new beginning for Youth for Christ.

I also had a really good run this morning. First of my marathon training runs so far that actually felt good. Phew!
