Rolling back the years

Spent the evening in the city celebrating the upcoming New Year. We ventured over early afternoon and visited some lovely pubs just on the outskirts of the centre. They were quite quiet, surprisingly but it meant we could chat and be heard. We stumbled (literally!) Upon this retro game cafe/bar and enjoyed our favourite Brew Dog. It felt like I'd stepped back in time as I watched some regulars playing some retro games. The wingbacked chairs of another favourite place were enjoyed by The other-half and our friend. Although I felt like I was visiting them in a nursing home!
We managed a last trip to the tipi in the centre for what will be the last time, before it's removed.
The night ended in a favourite location, karaoke and old tunes!
We made it to 1 am before heading home via a fast food place! Regrettably.
